What to Expect in the August 2 Puppy Class
From day one, you’ll notice that our trainers are not just instructors—they’re coaches, cheerleaders, and behavior translators. Each Saturday session is structured for learning, play, and progress. Here’s what you and your pup can expect:
- Engaging Lessons: Your puppy will learn core commands like sit-stay, down-stay, leash walking, and the place command in a way that feels like a game.
- Socialization Time: Our trainers supervise a puppy playgroup each class to build social confidence and monitor body language.
- Behavior Coaching: Have issues with jumping, barking, or potty training? Trainers provide real-time solutions tailored to your dog.
- Owner Support: You’ll leave each session with homework, tips, and encouragement to continue training at home.
Why Trainer Experience Matters
Training a puppy requires patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of canine learning. Puppies go through critical development stages, and how they’re guided through these moments can affect their behavior for life. An experienced trainer knows when to gently push, when to slow down, and how to make adjustments without overwhelming the dog.
More importantly, our trainers don’t just train dogs—they teach people. You’ll learn how to read your puppy’s cues, respond with consistency, and become your dog’s most trusted teacher.

One client shared, “I came in nervous, thinking I’d never get my pup to stop jumping. But after the second class, not only was she calmer—I knew how to communicate with her. The trainer’s support made all the difference.”
