Dog Day Training Packages
Our Dog Day Training program is perfect for owners who want professional training without overnight boarding. Dogs are dropped off for the day and work one-on-one with a professional dog trainer, then picked up at the end of the day. Throughout their stay, dogs participate in structured daycare play and focused training sessions designed to build stronger obedience, improve engagement, and curb unwanted behaviors. This program blends real-world practice, mental stimulation, and fun, helping dogs learn faster while still enjoying their day.
This program at Prestige Dog Training requires dogs to be dropped off and picked up each day, Monday through Friday. On the final day of the package, we include a private lesson at pickup to walk you through what your dog has learned and how to apply the training at home, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term success.
What Can I Teach My Dog?
Sit with an implied stay
Your dog will go into a sit and stay in their sit even when we move away from them
Down with an implied stay
Your dog will lie down and stay in the down position even when we move away from them
Loose leash walking
Your dog will walk next to you by your side and will not pull on the leash
Off leash heeling
Your dog will walk in a close tactical heel on the side of your choice and will automatically sit when you come to a halt
Recall or come when called
Your dog will come to you when called and go into a sit at your feet
Place command
Your dog will go to an elevated surface such as a bed or piece of furniture and stay on that object until released
Leave it
Your dog will disengage or “leave” whatever item it is showing interest in
Doorway management
Your dog will sit at the door and will only proceed through the threshold once released
Reactive behaviors
Teach your dog not to growl, bark, or chase things such as people, dogs, cars etc.
Excessive barking
We will help you teach your dog how to be quiet and eliminate nuisance barking
Jumping
We will work to teach your dog not to jump on others and how to greet people properly
Mouthing or 'puppy biting'
We will work to teach your dog not to mouth, bite, or chew on us or others
