Lead Trainers
Prestige’s Dog Training team has years of experience working with thousands of dogs and every breed imaginable. We are Certified Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA) and our experience spans all levels of obedience and behavior modification to high-level working K-9s.
There is no breed or age of pup we cannot train or work with. Our trainers have certifications from academies such as Tom Rose School, NePoPo School, and Michael Ellis Professional School. This level of experience and consistency is often reflected in prestige dog training reviews, where clients highlight real results and professional handling.
Ulysses
Ulysses is a nationally recognized professional dog trainer, previously training for one of the top dog training academy’s in the midwest, KC Dawgz, in Kansas City as the lead trainer. During his time there he also became the director of training and oversaw thousands of dogs, clients, and training programs. He ran the apprenticeship program for over a year and trained 8 new dog trainers under him.
Ulysses was also the lead group instructor and has run over a hundred group classes and seminars about puppy training and dog theory. With vast experience in behavior modification for aggressive dogs and 10 years of dog training experience, Ulysses was the previous owner and lead trainer of Seek K-9 Dog Training Academy. He is now the lead trainer for Prestige Dog Training. Also having his CPDT-KA certification and a registered AKC Evaluator, he seeks to make his claim in the vast field of canine training.
He now primarily focuses his training on canine odor detection and was a previous handler and trainer for bed bug K-9 scent detection, and is currently expanding his knowledge into other odors such as narcotics and explosives. With years of behavioral theory and dog behavior training, he also has his Certified Behavior Consultant Canine certification (CBCC-KA).
Most notably, Ulysses apprenticed under Michael Sligh, one of the top dog trainers in the United States.
Adonis
Adonis has been around dogs his entire life, working several years as a kennel attendant in a dog daycare. He quickly developed a passion for working with all animals and more specifically dogs. During his time as a daycare attendant, he began looking into the world of dog training in his spare time and began working with his own dog Whiskers.
After getting his degree in Behavioral Psychology in Chicago, he wanted to apply this to dogs and further develop his training skills. Adonis then completed the Tom Rose School of Dog Training to become even more advanced in technique, theory, and application. As his skills developed over the years he began to take on even the most advanced behavioral modification training; working with hundreds of dogs and owners over the years.
He is currently in the process of getting his CPDT-KA certification and is beginning to learn the basics of bitework and protection training.
Ayla
Ayla’s passion for working with animals began at an early age. Growing up with a mother who trained primates, she was immersed in the world of animal behavior and training from childhood. She began learning training techniques at home with her own dogs, developing an early understanding of how animals communicate, learn, and build trust with their handlers.
At 14, Ayla expanded her experience to horses, spending the next five years training and competing in Western events throughout Texas. Working with horses taught her to pay close attention to body language, remain patient, and respond to animals with calmness and consistency. During this time, she also interned at a veterinary clinic,
furthering her knowledge of animal health, care, and wellbeing.
Ayla went on to attend Arizona State University, where she earned her degree in Psychology. While in college, she worked as a kennel technician at a dog training facility and it wasn’t long before she found herself drawn back to training and advanced into a
dog trainer role. Over the course of her time there, Ayla helped train hundreds of dogs, focusing on building reliable obedience while creating happy, confident dogs who could enjoy greater freedom in everyday life.
Today, as part of the Prestige Dog Training team, Ayla has found a special passion for working with nervous and shy dogs. She loves helping dogs overcome uncertainty, build confidence, and discover that the world can be a safe and rewarding place. She is
dedicated to helping each dog and owner build the skills, trust, and relationship they need to enjoy life together.

At Prestige Dog Training Chicago, our apprentice trainers are currently developing their skills while working alongside our experienced training staff..
